In Android you can modify system functions to enable volume boosting, always on display, and many features that are'nt made avaiabe by the manufacturer. On rooting, you can install Full Operating Systems ike Ubuntu and Windows on your Smartphone.

As Android is open-source, you can find endless ways to push your smartphone to the ends. Developers like XDA, make apps that are only availabe on certain smartphones, like G-Cam in Google Pixel, for other smartphones.
